Isaac Goes to the Detroit Zoo

We all went to the zoo today and had a picnic. We spent about two hours walking around and playing in the playground. Some of the animals we got to see were; the otter (who was sleeping), the chimpanzees and gorillas who were very active...they actually came over and knocled on the glass to say hi, camels, horses, bison, peacocks, vultures, crocodiles, snakes, turtles, polar bears, grizzly bears, brown bears, black bears and the new Kangaroo exhibit.

All in all we had a great time...here are some pictures and videos.

Isaac and his Binoculars

While rummaging through the entertainment center in the basement on Sunday morning, Isaac discovered my binoculars. He immediately recognized these, since Diego uses them on his adventures. First he went on an aquatic adventure spying sea animals. Then he went on a land based adventure spotting, monkeys, peacocks and koala bears. Finally, Isaac recounts the WeinerMobile sighting (I got to say it again, hah) from last night.

Isaac maintained his formal appearance by wearing his peach tie....check out the pictures and videos.

Isaac Goes to "Go, Diego, Go Live"

Tonight was the big night! We took Isaac to see "Go, Diego, Go Live"at the Fox Theatre in Detroit. We took a few pictures before the show and then unfortunately, we were not able to bring the camera in with us.

The show was great! Isaac was mesmerized from start to finish. He loved; watching all of the animals, especially the Baby Jaguar. He enjoyed dancing and singing along to all of the songs. And of course what he seemed to enjoy the most was seeing his friends from TV; Diego, Alicia and Dora!


Once we got into the car after the show, he could not stop talking about it until, we saw....

yup, that's right the Oscar Meyer, Weinermobile!!!

Isaac's New Bedding and Cheese Sandwhiches

Today, Miriam picked up Isaac's new bedding. A few weeks ago we gave his Nanna Maria his old crib bumper and wall hanging which came with his crib sheets. She transformed the sheets into pillowcases, and the bumper into a quilt and throw pillow for his "big" bed. You probably can't tell from the pictures but they came out incredible. We will have to take some pictures once they are washed and put on the bed.

Isaac then had a cheese sandwhich for lunch.....here are some pictures and videos.

Isaac and Dad on Saturday Morning

Isaac and I were hanging out on the bed playing this morning while Mom was out getting her hair cut. We decided to take some videos. They are fairly long so they may take a little while to download. Also, for the first one make sure you have the volume up pretty loud so you can hear Isaac talking.

By the way I finally figured out how to make the videos a little bigger so, this should make them easier to watch.

Isaac Plays Ball and Eats Beans

Before dinner we were all playing some ball in the house. Isaac shows off his athletic prowess, by hitting baseballs and throwing footballs.

Later at dinner we had some Edamame...Isaac was having some diffulty squeezing the peas out of the pod but I seem to think he thought it was well worth it to watch them shoot out and then get to eat them.

Isaac meets the Easter Bunny

We went to lunch on Sunday and happened to run into the Easter Bunny. Isaac found this extremely exciting and of course could not sit through lunch without asking to go back to see the Easter Bunny several times. Since we did not expect to see any Easter Bunnies Miriam and I were not carrying our camera, but the Easter bunny had a Polaroid, so I took a picture of the Polaroid picture. The quality is not great but you can tell Isaac was happy!!
