This weekend we went to visit the camp Isaac is going to this summer, OSRUI. It is in Wisconsin between Madison and Milwaukee so about a 5 hours drive. We headed out on Saturday and spent the night in Madison.
While in Madison we had dinner at Ella's Deli, which came highly recommended and did not disappoint. I am not sure who was more impressed by the displays in the restaurant, the kids or the parents. We had dinner, checked out all of the displays, rode the carousel, and had some ice cream. The next morning, we picked up Cosmo at Central Bark, and continued our journey to OSRUI. We took our own guided tour around the town, which is really nice. The houses on the lake are incredible! We even had a nice brunch at a Supper Club with a nice view of the lake! Then we headed to camp and took our tour with the camp director.
Towards the end of the tour we saw the climbing tower and the pool - which is heated by solar power and has water slides! After that Isaac said "this is like vacation without parents!" We were very impressed by the camp, the grounds and the facilities/. Everything was nicer than we could have expected. It looks like Isaac will have a great time!!
