Olivia's 1st Gymanstics Meet

Thursday Night was Olivia's first Gymnastics meet.  She competed on the high bar, balance beam and floor.  She came in 2nd place overall and was extremely excited!

 This was her first score on the high bar. 

 This was her second ribbon for placing 2nd on the balance beam!

Olivia's 6th Birthday

Well, believe it or not Olivia is 6!!  On her actual Birthday she wanted to go to Lions Tap.  She ordered her favorite, " a Cheeseburger without the burger" and some root beer, of course!  When they brought her burger out it had a candle and we sang Happy Birthday.

On Saturday, we had Olivia's party at the Community Center.  She was very excited to have her Barbie birthday cake and her crown on!

The kids did some crafts, played in the gym, had cake while Olivia opened presents and then they got to play in the play structure!

Super-Fantastic-Extra-Busy Weekend!!!

So it was a very busy weekend!  Friday night we went to temple and then took Bob and Deb out to celebrate their 10th Anniversary with all of the kids at India Palace.

Saturday morning was supposed to be a baseball game, but it got rained out, so we went to get Olivia her passport.   Then we decided to launch some rockets...yes you read that right.  We headed to the Hobby Hub and bought a launch pad and some rockets.  Check out the video at the link!  The rocket went 1,100 feet high, according to the box and I believe it!  It was very windy and we lost it.  So we launched another one....same result!

Saturday night Miriam and I went to the Big Brother Big Sister Annual Gala downtown. It was a very nice event and was for a great cause!

Sunday was even more busy....we went to religious school and it was the last day of the year so the kids said goodbye to their teachers. 

Then Isaac and I had the annual Cub Scout picnic.  After that Isaac headed to a Birthday party and we went to Olivia's dance recital.   Then we all went out for sushi....now it is time to get ready for the week and then bedtime...thankfully!!!

Mother's Day Weekend 2013!

Look Mom! I got my Spring Haircut!

We met some friends on Saturday and saw the play CinderEdna and Olivia gave Miriam the calendar she made her. 

On Sunday, we went to Bachman's for lunch, did the traditional yard work, I cooked steaks and Miriam opened her present from me... a new door knocker!

Then finally, we cooked the Mother's Day cookies that Isaac made Mom at Sunday School today.

Baseball Pictures - Princess Party - Spring Festival

Isaac and his team had their baseball pictures this week.

Olivia had another Birthday party...this one was a princess party.  Check out her gloves and her home made card!

Isaac and his classmates danced at the Spring Festival.  At the start Isaac is the second from the left in the front row...he starts jumping and waving to us early on.   Then he and Anya had a duet....it is on the video but they are far away on the other side of the gym with their backs to us, so you may not be able to see them...See some more pictures and the video from the Spring Festival here.
