For Isaac's Birthday, Lita bought the whole family tickets to go to the
Sesame Street Live presentation of Elmo's Green Thumb at the Detroit Fox Theatre.
When we arrived the kids were impressed by the incredible architecture of the theatre as well as all of the Sesame Street paraphernalia.

The show was great and the kids really got a kick out of it. Olivia was bouncing and clapping along to the songs. Isaac was mesmerized by the story and the cool special effects. He really liked the disco ball and the confetti at the end. During intermission we picked up some health snacks; cotton candy, gummy worms and popcorn.

For those of you taking notes, the letter of the day was F and the number of the day was 6...
After the show we were all starving so we ate at Hockey Town right across the street. the kids were interested in the motorcycles they had on display and all of the hockey and baseball stuff they had on the walls. During lunch we even got to watch the Red Wings play the Penguins....which made it hard for Isaac to stay focused on his food. I seemed to do alright multitasking.
Flashback:

Everyone enjoyed the pizza and cake, opened their party favors and it was time to go.

Then we decided to open some presents. This kicked off the "Star Wars Saga” weekend , which and led into tomorrow’s party (stay tuned for that entry…coming soon). Isaac loved all his gifts; he got several Star Wars action figures from Lita, a Clone Trooper blaster gun from Stacey, Josh and Gabriel and a new Clone Trooper lunchbox from Grandpa and Grandma. In addition, he received some non-Star Wars toys which included a very cool Robot T-shirt from Natania and Jeff, a new sled from Grandpa and Grandma and some Toy Story action figures from Lita. Thanks to everyone!!!
If you watch the

The kids loved the wave pool and the "Kid's Safari" section. The Kid's Safari section had a lot of small water slides they could both go down as well as some climbing structures and animals spouting water from random places.
We also spent some time in the indoor play structure (which has a crazy pneumatic volcano), the arcade(playing "games of chance" for tickets) and miniature golf.
On Thursday, Isaac woke up and was very excited because he decided to try the big slides (the biggest ones he was allowed to go on since he was 1 inch too short to try some of the really big ones). The first thing we did, was head straight to the "Leopard's Lair" which housed 2 slides and sure enough he went down them and loved it! Of course, then he wanted to try some of the slides he was not allowed to go on....next year.
Isaac and his 3D Tyrannosaurus Rex puzzle. Aunt Natania gave this to him for Christmas and he and i worked on it over the weekend.
