Busy Weekend

Had a busy weekend. Saturday Morning Miriam went to Yoga and we called Grandma and Grandpa....Olivia had a nice conversation w/ Grandma.
Then we headed to Cayden's 1st Birthday...it was great to catch up with some of our friends and celebrate Cayden's 1st Bday.
Later that afternoon we took Isaac to see How to Train your Dragon 3-D, he loved it!
That night Isaac headed over to Lita's for a sleepover.
Sunday morning Miriam woke up with a plan to drive to Frankenmuth and head to the Water park. The kids had a great time. They were able to go down the biggest slides in the park on the tubes, which they loved. After a few hours of water slides we walked around town, spent some time in the shops, and then had a chicken dinner at Zender's.

As you can tell it was a packed weekend we did not have a lot of time to take pictures but here are a few and a short video.

Easter at Lita's

Sunday was Easter and as always, we headed over to Lita's for the Easter Eggstravanganza!
While we were getting ready at home the kids got dressed, ensured that "Pinky the Dinosaur" was feeling okay and made Easter cards for Lita .

When we arrived we sat down for a great lunch...the kids were very excited about the Easter Egg hunt. They had decorated the eggs with stickers a few days ago and had been anxiously awaiting and just could not sit still. Before the official Egg Hunt started they were rough-housing on the floor and Olivia discovered one (this is caught on video)...she was pretty excited.

After the kids collected all of the eggs, they cracked them open and checked out all of their loot=candy.
After eating a few pieces each, Miriam and the kids dyed the real eggs....Miriam surprised them by putting messages on some of the eggs before they dipped them in the dye. (check out the video when Olivia reads her name!)
After the egg dying we had lemon meringue pie...all of the sugar added up to more rough-housing....
See some more pictures and videos here.
