Olivia's "Happy" Concert

 

Monday Olivia's 1st grade class put on a concert at school.  They sang about 8 songs!  All of them had a "happy" theme.  The kids really did a great job singing and with their hand motions!

Isaac's Egg Drop and Destination Imagination(DI) and a trip to the Zoo...

....all in one week!

So Isaac had his cub scout egg drop today.  The theme was UFOs so he built his contraption using a glider concept.  It was successful and his egg did not crack!  He is now 2 for 2.  There is a video of his drop at the link (along with some other pictures).

On Sunday Isaac had his DI competition, his team (the "DI-namite Bananas") made it through Regionals and were competing at the State Competition against 4th and 5th graders!  Unfortunately, they did not move on to the Global event, but they did a great job!

After DI we went to the Harlem Globetrotters game, thanks to Olivia!  She won a raffle for 4 free tickets...the whole family had a great time at the game, but it was a long day!  For the first time in years the kids both fell asleep on the ride home!

Later in the week we headed to the zoo, with the Z's

April Trip to Michigan

We took a road trip to Michigan to visit friends and family and brought Cosmo along for the ride so he could visit his cousin Lulu.  We had a good time, but unfortunately I hurt my back so we did not get a chance to take a lot of pictures....here are a few and there are a few more at the link.
