A few things to catch you up on June....Miriam and the kids went to Minnehaha Falls with the Dunbars.
Isaac and I cooked Steaks in the rain on my new Father's Day Grill! We broke out the old Lionel Train set that I used when I was about the kids age. My Grandpa Mort gave it to me and I remember playing with it quite a bit! When we moved to Michigan Ricky and Hilary packed it up and drove it out and it sat in our basement(s) for over 10 years. We decided to clean it and test it. It did not work at first so we took to the Hobby shop and it worked there, so we learned a few things. One was that the locomotive engines were from the 1940s!! We also learned that if we soaked the tracks that should fix things a bit so we did....stay tuned for a future post of us once we got it to work.
Isaac had is last regular season baseball game. They finished the season in secod place and made it to the playoffs! Here they are celebrating in DQ.
We got a new roof from the hail damage last August...here is in in progress. The new roof is on the lower section and the old roof is still on the upper.
...and we went to the dog park and made a new friend.
