A Few Things to Note....

For older postings please look to your right and you can navigate to any previous postings from there. I hope you enjoy the page. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
Going forward rather than upload and post some of the photos taken by others I will place a link to your sites on the lower right hand of this page as I receive them from you. That way you can navigate to all of them directly from here.

A few random things since February......

Well I just checked the camera (the old school one....that is actually a camera and not a phone) and realized there were quite a few pictures and videos that I had not posted. In February Miriam's friend Emma came to visit. While she was here she danced with Olivia....see some pictures and a short video.

I also found a video of Isaac and Olivia playing (quite rough!) around the house, Olivia dancing and the kids popping popcorn retro-style(pre-microwave). See that video here.

The kids, Miriam and I started working on a car...kind of like a soap box derby car, but no soap....no box....and no derby. We are trying to use as much reused materials as possible in honor of Earth day which is when we started it. We hope it will be finished before the fall. Here is what it looks like so far. I will post more pictures of our progress.

Taylor's Falls and Easter Sunday

Lita was in town for a week or so and Miriam and I headed to Taylor's Falls for a night. We stayed at the Old Jail Inn...very interesting! When we came back Isaac and Olivia played us a welcome home song with the Okee Dokee Brothers (check out the video it is pretty funny!).
Then we went to the Arboretum for a Easter Sunday Brunch and came home and decorated Easter eggs.

French Toast, Nature Hike and the Science Museum

This weekend we all went on a nice nature walk in the purgatory creek recreation area...it is nicer than it sounds.
Olivia and Isaac made French Toast for Isaac's school project. His class was going on a field trip to see how maple syrup was made and they each had to contribute a recipe using maple syrup....he chose french toast.
Sam and Isaac went to the Science Museum of Minnesota they got to do there own experiment!
