Today we took the kids to the Birmingham Ice Arena for "free skate"....which, by the way, turns out to actually not be free !Anyway, we all got our skates on and headed on to the ice.
This was Olivia's first time so she was really excited. She did really well and made it all the way around the rink, with some help from mom and dad, of course.
Isaac is also getting much better, his lessons are clearly paying off and he can now skate all by himself. There is also a video from the kids messing aorund at night-night snack last night.
Today is Miriam's Birthday...everyone has been sick for a few weeks and we were hoping to be better to go over to Lita's house for dinner and cake tonight. Unfortunately, now even Lita is sick. 
So we decided to open presents this morning and then have cake before lunch! The kids got a kick out of this and the cake was really good.
Isaac was able to sit in the plane and actually move the wings by pulling the steering wheel back and forth. Seems like they had fun!
