2014 Mexico Trip

Well, I finally got some time to go through and post the pictures and videos from Mexico!

We had a great time visiting all of our family and did so many fun things.  I think the highlight was driving all 26 of us out to the pyramids.  I am not sure what was more incredible seeing the pyramids, the awe in the kids faces or seeing everyone all together, form our youngest cousin to Super-Lita!

Turkey Day!!!

Well, there certainly were a lot of turkeys in our house this year....

We had a nice weekend with Grandma and Grandpa.
 a great meal....
what would Thanksgiving Break be without a trip to MOA (Mall of America)!
oh...and we set up our new tv....the kids liked the 3D glasses.

Insert your own joke here....

We definitely missed having Stacey, Josh and the Cousins (Gabriel, Vivi and Benjamin) to celebrate with.....we look froward to Turkey Day 2015!

Isaac's Wax Museum Project and his First basketball Practice

So, in 4th Grade the kids choose a famous person they look up to and dress up as them for the Wax Museum.   Isaac chose Sandy Kofax.  He learned about him because he was a Jewish baseball player.
In the Wax Museum parents and other students come around and "press the button" and the "wax character" talks about themselves....like in a real wax museum.  There were some really interesting characters there!  Hubert Humphrey, Elvis, Anne Frank, Harriet Tubman, Abe Lincoln, St. Helena...just to a name a few.
Isaac also had his first basketball practice this weekend.  He is on a team with Darian and Riley who are both in his Cub Scout den as well.  Should be a fun season!

See some pictures from both events, a video of Isaac telling about Sandy Kofax and a video of Isaac playing basketball here.
