Olivia's 8th Birthday Party - Gymnastics

Today was Olivia's 8th Birthday party.  She decided to have it at Legacy Gymnastics.  The kids got a lot of time to experiment with the different equipment

The pit, or as Olivia explains it "cubes of puffiness", seemed to be the crowd favorite!

Grandpa Ricky Visits for Super Adult (SA) Day

Isaac had a very interesting assignment at school.  He had to choose a "SuperAdult" (SA) to write a story about what makes that person an SA, make a picture and present his story to the class.  He decided to choose Grandpa Ricky!  He even called Grandpa and asked him to come to Minneapolis so that he could be there in person.   After a very long flight (Grandpa arrived at 1 AM Wednesday) we all got up Thursday and headed to school to meet Isaac in his class.  All of the kids got up and told their stories, they really did a great job!

Since Grandpa was such as SuperAdult, we surprised him with Tix to see his team, the Boston Red SOX play the Twins at Target Field.  It was a beautiful day and a great game....

Grandpa then got to go see Olivia do Gymnastics and Isaac play in a baseball game of his own.  All in one day!

Olivia's 8th Birthday - Family Weekend Celebration

Friday was Olivia's real Birthday so we celebrated at home with a nice dinner, peanut butter cup pie (her choice of course), opening presents (and Face-timing) with the family!

 Saturday Olivia and dad went to Big Thrill Factory (BTF).

Sunday we took Leah and the Kennedy's to Chuck E. Cheese. We were surprised when we arrived at 10 AM only to find out they did not open until 11 AM!  So, we headed to Starbucks for some coffee, milk and pastries, opened presents and had what, I believe to be, the first 8 year old Birthday party at Starbucks!

Then we headed over to Chuck E. Cheese for some pizza and games of chance...

Kids Piano Recital and Miriam's Singing Debut

Today was the kids annual Piano Recital.  Miriam has also been taking voice lessons and made her recital debut this morning as well.  Everyone did a great job!  Check out their videos here.
