Skiing at Welch Village

Miriam was out of town for the weekend so I took the kids skiing at Welch Village.  This was our first time there.  It was a lot fun and the weather was great!

Building the Millennium Falcon

Isaac, Olivia and I worked together over several weeks to build the Millennium Falcon.  It was a ton of fun and turned out Awesome!

The last Pinewood Derby Race (and Olivia's First)

Well this was our last Pinewood Derby race since Isaac will be progressing to Boy Scouts. We had a lot of fun building the cars this year and Olivia was able to build one to enter the sibling race!

Olivia's is the pink and Turquoise one above.  She had an "O" on the car and a Lego Olivia driver!

Isaac's 11th Birthday

Isaac turned 11!  We had his party at Lion's Tap, Grand Slam and then had the boys over for a sleep over.

There was a bit of a Star Wars theme to the presents.

First half of January 2016

Well 2016 is already flying by.   We continued working on the train and discovered Scale Model Supplies....which also had a giant slot car racetrack in the back....this was a great surprise and we all had fun trying to keep the cars on the tracks.

 It finally got cold....-13  before wind.

Olivia had her 3rd Grade Winter Fantasyland Concert. She did great!

Winter Break 2015/16

So we had a busy winter break!


We had a visit from some Protiviti Elves and received some eggnog, moose mugs and stockings.

We wished our friends a smooth move to Duluth

 Some of us got some new haircuts

 Celebrated our first Xmas at Lita's new apartment in Eden Prairie!!!  and I took an awkward picture using my apple watch

We went to see The Force Awakens with the Quintero's including 2 Princess Leahs!

 Oli and I had Daddy Daughter Day and captured some monsters in the claw at Dave & Busters!

 Grand Opening and Piada with Ben.....got some free Canolis

Finally after 4 decades we successfully set up the Lionel Train in the basement....after the basement was fixed from the multiple sump  pump issues!

 Met some Giants.

 Celebrated New Year's with Gus on his birthday and met his girlfriend Angel.
