**NEW** - Kid Quotes
From time to time, actually everyday, the kids say something astonishing, profound or hilarious. Unfortunately, there have been thousands already which will go undocumented.....I will try and capture some from now on in the list below. Enjoy!
Kid's Quotes
- 12/12/11 - "What did you have to kill to make this?" - This is a common question from Olivia at dinner time. Last night we had lentil soup...that was pretty funny!
- 06/18/11 - "Can't the girls just where zuchinis when they go swimming?" - Isaac referring to bikinis
- 06/15/11 - "Dad, did you know that with seahorses the father carries the babies. Where do you think they come out?" - Isaac as he was falling asleep
- 05/29/11 - "I am going to the Happy Place, where kids eat rainbows and poop butterflies!" - Isaac
- 04/09/11 - "Dad, why do they call it rock music? It is not boring like a rock, which just sits there..." - Isaac after seeing "Hop" the movie.
- 03/19/11 - "No one is going to destroy the world, right Dad?" - Olivia when I told her i was reading the news
- 03/20/11 - "Kowalski's? Is that where we go to get our keys fixed?" - Olivia on the way to Kowalski's...which is a grocery store
- 12/30/10 - "Can I have some bacon on my hamburger? I wil pay for it with my allowance!" - Olivia at Lions Den
- 11/29/10 - "I like my new school, so much I want to go a million days!" - Olivia after her first day at her new Prescool
- 9/8/10 - " Mom! Now I know why Kindergarten is everyday...because it is so cool!" - Isaac after his 1st day of Kindergarten
- 08/16/10 - While trying on their hockey equipment Isaac said to Olivia - "Olivia you could wear your helmet all the time...that way you wont fall and hurt your nose again!"
- 07/03/10 - "Let me go upstairs and get my tattoo!" - Olivia when she was dancing....she came back down with her tutu.
- 05/22/10 - "It's Amazing!....What does Amazing mean?" - Olivia when she opened her Birthday Present from Mom & Dad
- 05/21/10 - "You just can't rule the world, Olivia!" - Isaac
- 04/21/10 - "I need to see a man about a dog..." - Isaac after spending a weekend with Grandpa
- 04/03/10 - "I do not like your words, and I can't read!" - Olivia
- 04/03/10 - "Olivia is a complicated Person!" - Isaac
- 03/20/10 - "Olivia, come on, you can be my sidekick!" - Isaac to Olivia while planing some sort mischief...
- 1/20/10 - On our way to Kalahari, we asked Olivia where she would like to eat lunch, she said "Can we go to "Old McDonald's?" Isaac, saw the McDonalds sign from the highway and also noticed a Burger King sign and said..."Or we could go to The Lion King."
- 1/20/10 - "I am going to be 5, and next year I will need another hand." - Isaac when asked how old he was going to be. He showed 5 fingers...
- 12/05/09 - "Isaac I am so proud of you!" - Olivia to Isaac after he came off of the ice, from his 3rd ice skating lesson.
- 11/02/09 - "Why do they call them gums? (referring to gums in your mouth).....Oh! I know, because they are the same color as bubble gum! - Isaac
- 9/29/09 - "Is it awake time?" - This is typically the first thing Olivia says when she wakes up in the morning
- 9/8/9 - "I like Pre-K even better than Pre-School" - Isaac
- 07/29/09 - "Dad, when are YOU going to retire?" - Isaac when I told him I could not go to the park because I had to work today.
- 07/27/09 - "Isaac go swimming, Olivia go swimming, Daddy go swimming, Momo (AKA: Cosmo) go swimmming?....No, Momo no have bathing suit!" - Olivia making a Joke to David before swim class
- 07/24/09 - "I am excited to move. I have never moved before....except out of your belly." - Isaac to mom
- 07/03/09 - "What are you doing in me room?" - Olivia said this to Dad when I walked in her room today.
- 07/02/09 - "Dad, being a kid is hard!....You have to go to sleep and stuff..." - Isaac said this during bed time after the 3rd hour.
- 3/28/09 - "Dad, can you tell me a little bit about when Darth Vader was on the "Lighter side"? Mom told me about when he tunred to the "Dark Side" - Isaac then turned around, pointed to his back and said, "This must be Darth Vader's Dark Side..."
- 3/28/09 - "Dad why don't they call onion rings, onion bracelets? They really are more like bracelets!" - Isaac said this while he had an onion ring on his wrist...
- 2/11/09 - "Mom, today at school we had cupcakes with TUMS on top." - This was after the Valentine's Day Party at Isaac's school...the “TUMS” were Sweethearts Conversation Hearts!
- 2/1/09 - "Hey Guys! I am freakin' out!" - Isaac to Miriam and I, when he was getting a bit furstrated.
- 1/21/09 - "I wish you were turning 4 too Mom." - Isaac had his teacher right this back to Miriam on the Birthday note Miriam placed in his lunch box
- 1/12/09 - "Grown-ups ruin Everything!" - Isaac, when told he cannot have chocolate milk at night.
- 01/05/09 - "Do you want to hear someting unusual? Did you know when Charlie Brown's parents talk they go..."wha, wha, wah, wah wahhhh..."? But the really unusual part is that Charlie Brown understands them!" - Isaac to one of his teachers
- 1/3/08 - "Does Oscar the Grouch have legs?" - Isaac
- 12/05/09 - "Isaac I am so proud of you!" - Olivia to Isaac after he came off of the ice, from his 3rd ice skating lesson.

Really....why are those of us in Texas (umm..me) always the last to hear these things. I have to stop relying on Gus for news. Congrats!! That is awesome news!!
