Wow!! Today was a fun-filled action packed day. We awoke early to the sounds of rain (actually the same time we always do - around 6 AM) and got ready to go to the Clawson Parade. We were a little concerned we would get rained out so Isaac and I decided to scope out the parade and call the girls when we found a good spot. Luckily, the rain cleared and we found a nice spot.
Isaac enjoyed the parade especially the marching bands....Olivia did not like the sirens on the fire trucks though.
After the parade we headed to lunch and then home for a break and a brief tricycle ride around the house. Then Isaac and I decided to head to the Carnival in the Clawson park. The carnival was geared towards really young kids which was great(no height restrictions for the vertically challenged!) Isaac started with a train ride and then noticed the mini - Ferris Wheel(this was his first time on the ferris wheel so we were a little nervous - but he loved it!). Then we tackled the obstacle course and competed in a few slot car races. Isaac was quite the race car driver...better than me! Of course, before we headed home he wanted to go on the ferris wheel again....so we squeezed in one more ride before it started t0 rain.
Check out the pictures and videos.
Stay tuned for a few more pictures from the dinner party and fireworks....
