Tuesday, Isaac and Olivia had their first Hockey class at Velocity Hockey Center. We spent most of this weekend on a "scavenger hunt" for hockey equipment, trying to borrow and buy from various neighbors and stores.The class is 3 days a week. The center has artificial ice which is less slippery and not cold and a treadmill for training them how to skate. Clearly Isaac has his stance down (see below).
They seemed to really like it. When asked afterwards what they thought they said "We don't love it, we really really love it!"

This is great -- new teaching technique since papa David skated. Tell Isaac that Grandma isn't worrying "that much" now that she sees all the equipment they are wearing. But still be careful!!! love ya gm/gp
