Our 2 Day Drive to Michigan

Thursday afternoon after Isaac's end of year party we hopped in the car to start our drive to Michigan. We stopped "a few" times along the way.



A few highlights from the two day journey:
"Oinks" in New Buffalo, MI - Miriam quickly pulled over when we saw this place. We could not pass it up. "Over 3000 pieces of pig paraphernalia". It makes Grandma Hillary's pig collection look amateur.





St. Josephs, MI - beach and fountain. The kids played in the fountain, we had a picnic and then played in the sand and the lake. We had previously stopped here back in August of 2009 on our way back from Chicago. See that blog entry here.



Friday night we stopped at Olga's for dinner before arriving at Lita's around 9PM.
