It was quite an Anniversary we had this year! We definitely needed a bit of an escape, to get away from all of the crazy construction projects going on at the house to repair the hail damage from last August!!!
Miriam and the kids came home Saturday with a surprise (See above....just a rental). It was a lot of fun for the weekend and the weather was perfect! Miriam and I cruised over to St. Paul for dinner, we found a highly recommended Deli,
Cecil's, and had some great sandwiches and then walked around downtown.
On Sunday we took the kids to
Valley Fair. We had a great time. The kids are old(big) enough to ride most of the rides now so it was a much different experience! The could even go together on the rides mom and dad did not want to go on....because they make us sick :).
