Next year if Isaac decides to continue on he will be in Boy Scouts....so this was our last year at Summer camp as Cub Scouts.
So, this summer they focused on getting the boys ready to transition to Boy Scouts. They spent a lot more time working on things with the older scouts and the parents participated a lot less.....so I spent some time in the spot below....when it was dryIsaac slept pretty well most nights after all the activities....
He made some new friends....
Climbed to new heights (this was his first year he made it to the top!!)
Played a lot of Gaga and carpet ball during the free times.
Isaac was a natural at carpet ball and went undefeated for a really long time!
Took aim at some targets
He had a perfect bulls eye!
We were in Bear Country so this was our bear locker where we had to keep our "smellables". Arguably by the end of the week we all should have been in there!
We even climbed the fire tower!
Unfortunately, the last two days were too wet and so I left my phone in the car.....no pictures....just a lot of mud and water! We had got 4" of rain the last day! It started at 11 AM and did not let up until we left on Wednesday! The campsite was soaked and it made for a really tough night, but we made it and had a lot of fun and adventure along the way!
See some more pictures from the Camping trip here.
