The Mother's day extravaganza started this year with breakfast at home (omelets and toast). Then we headed to the Art Fair in Birmingham where Miriam picked out her own present. She chose a hand made rug for the entry way. 
We even brought Cosmo, he and the kids played in the park for a little bit. Isaac and Olivia climbed a tree.
Then we went to Anita's kitchen in Ferndale and Miriam and the kids split 2, #16 juices (their favorite!) or a #32...depending on how you look at it. Then it was nap time.For dinner we headed to the Mexican restaurant by Lita's house where they have Mariachis!
When the Mariachis came over to our table we requested Olivia's favorite song, "Des Colores". Coincidentally, the rain just stopped and we could see a rainbow out the window. This was the first time both kids had seen a rainbow!
Another fun-filled weekend at the Lubins.
